Color Me Happy Race and More
& Touch-A-Truck event
The Color Me Happy Kids Fun Run is an obstacle course / “color” run that will begin at the American Legion Park where kids will run through a series of obstacle courses, then run out of the park and onto Broadway. The race will end at the Panola County Courthouse back parking lot.
This year we are unable to use the color powder, so contestants are to dress up as COLORFUL and CRAZY as they can! We will have a CRAZY COLORFUL CONTEST for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes on site that morning, before the race begins.
After the race, there will be a TOUCH A TRUCK event held on the square from 10am to 1pm- EVERYONE is invited!
Lots of great trucks (dump truck, ambulance, fire trucks, motorcycles and more!), Junior Auxiliary is bringing a big obstacle course bouncy house and popcorn. We’ll have food trucks like Chick-Fil-A, MFUNN BBQ and Kona Ice Truck. Come join us for a morning of fun!
Color Run Details
Location:
American Legion Park. Kids will run through a series of obstacle courses, then run out of the park and onto Broadway. The race will end at the Panola County Courthouse back parking lot.
Color Run Schedule:
8:00 – 8:30 am: Check in at American Legion Park
8:30 – 8:45 am: Crazy Colorful Contest
8:45 – 9:00 am: Line Up for Run
9:00 am: Race begins. (We will release in waves – older kids will go first. Remember this is a FUN run! )
Registration deadline:
for the color run has passed. You may still register your child to participate, but you will not be guaranteed a TSHIRT or BAG.
Cost: is $25 to participate.
Ages: 5 – 12 years (Parents may accompany child on the route if needed.) If it’s raining, we will still have the run – as long as there is no lightning.

Touch-A-Truck Event
Everyone (not just runners!) is invited to join in the fun at the TOUCH-A-TRUCK and KIDS ACTIVITIES around the square from 10am to 1pm!
From fire trucks to motorcycles, to tractors, we’ll have so many fun things to see and do! And Junior Auxiliary will be there with bounce houses and popcorn!
Grab some grub at the food trucks on site – We’ll have Chick-Fil-A, MFUNN BBQ, and the Kona Ice Truck!
